Progressive Pediatrics Provides Superior Pediatric Care to Union City, Weehawken, Jersey City and Bayonne in Hudson County
At Progressive Pediatrics, we are committed to health maintenance and prevention of serious illness in children using a systematic approach. This approach begins in the prenatal stage and continues after your baby arrives. Our goal is to provide proper healthcare early in your child’s life.Many parents, especially first-time parents, ask how often their child should see a pediatrician. Of course, you should see a kids doctor any time your child is sick. We have same-day sick child care for those times. For children who are otherwise in good health, we recommend the following age guidelines for pediatric preventive care visits:
- 3 days after leaving the hospital
- 1 week after the first visit
- At 1, 2, 4, 6 and 9 months
- At 1 year
- At 15 and 18 months
- At 2 years (24 months)
- Once a year after age 2 until age 21
